Directional Reaction Test

There are two rounds to the test. As with all tests there is a learning effect and by completing the test again and again you will be able to optimise your performance. Therefore you should complete both rounds at least three times. The aim is to complete the tests as accurately and as quickly as possible. Each round has 10 trials.

Round 1

In the first round you will see an arrow pointing in one of 16 directions. You need to find the arrow pointing in the same direction from 9 options below. The test calculates how many times you are correct and how long it takes you to complete all 10 trials.

Round 2

In the second round you will be presented with another arrow. This time you need to identify the arrow pointing in the opposite direction below. Again the test simply calculates how many times you are correct and how long it takes you to complete all 10 trials. The second round is slightly harder as you have to concentrate to ensure you are selecting the arrow pointing 180° in the opposite direction.

Round 2

In round 2 you need to identify the arrow pointing in the OPPOSITE direction from the 9 possible options.
